Just wondering...=)
Hey all! I'm not worried or anything about this, but I'm just kinda curious about why he's doing it, and if other BPs do it :3
For the past week or so, my four month old BP, Riddle, has been wrapping himself around his water dish and then once in awhile, soaks his tail for awhile. He'll stay like that for hours. It's ceramic, so it's cool to the touch. I'm just sorta curious if anyone else's BPs do this, or if my little guy is just being weird, lol.
Another thing he does, is when he goes into his hide, he leaves about four to five inches of his tail sticking out. I know BPs like to feel safe and snug, and I can't imagine how leaving his tail out of the hide makes him feel safe. It seems like it would make him more vulnerable, you know? The hide fits him perfectly (because he has been all the way in it before, and there's a little bit of room to spare, even) so I was wondering, again...if anyone knows why he would do this.
Maybe I just have one weird BP XD
Oh...the temps are 93 hot side and 81 cool side, and I have newspaper substrate. The humidity is around 55%. He's in a 15qt rubbermaid container.
