Heyyya

I am shooting for 80 as my ambient air temps in my Blood's tub. Right now my temps are fluctuating because of using a lamp dimmer, so they go in between 78.5-81. I am getting a thermostat today in the mail.

Now, this is Alaska, and it's decently cold in my room, low 70's, but can get to be 75-77. I have two small heat pads laying around from past critters and I was planning on setting both of them to a desired temp, either 82 or 83?, whichever heats up the tub to 80 and putting them on opposite sides of his tub to keep his ambient steady. I've had a lot of experiences with snakes, but this is my first that prefers solid ambient temps and no hot spot as a hatchling. Do you think this would work?

Thanks!
