K so I just acquired a 2 year old Guyana rtb, he's settled in nicely to his cage and I fed him a nicely sized rat today (live) and it bit him ( I Saw the tooth come out.) It was more like a puncture then a bite though. it didn't tear the skin and only let out a tiny bit of blood (not even a dime sized dot), when the tooth came out of the snake I Couldn't see the hole that was made through the cage.

Basically I'm writing this to make sure I haven't forgotten anything when it comes to bite care, I don't see any obvious damage now that he's eaten the rat, but I cant pick him up to examine him for a couple days.

1 - Watch for blood and asap take a close look at him to make sure theres nothing that needs veterinary attention.
2 - When I can, apply the non-painkilling neosporan to the bitten area (if I Can find it).

I don't know of anything else to do. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
