If at first you don't succeed...

Well, as you know, my eggs from Apopha's second clutch have been hatching. They are finally all out of the eggs and doing great. My first clutch did not go very well at all (I thought I had 7 good eggs, but only had 2...one of which died during incubation). Let me just say that this second clutch has more than made up for the misfortune of the first. 24 viable eggs...all of which have pipped and hatched and appear healthy. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic, exhausted and relieved all at once. Anyway, here is a picture of each baby. I haven't sexed them yet, so still don't know on that one.

Amel #1 - The curious, but cautious one.

Amel #2 - The fiesty and in your face one.

Amel #3 - The "I'm relieved to be here" one.

Amel #4 - The relaxed and easy going one.

Amel #5 - The "this has a flavor!" one.

    Amel #6 - The "na-na-na-na-na" one.

Amel #7 - The "let me rest here while you admire my zipper pattern" one.

Amel #8 - The wrinkly but relieved one.

    (More to come!)
