    ASF proof water bottles

For those of us that are using tanks for our asf's. I purchased the lixit water bottles for my asf's awhile back, I didn't think they could climb the bottle because of the shape, WRONG!!! They chewed the little plastic nipple off that's used to hang the water bottle. I found some 10oz bottles on-line for a good price and devised a way to prevent them from chewing the plastic. I hope others that are in the same boat find this useful.

    Supplies:

    Not pictured hot glue gun

    1. Hot glue washer to top of nut.
    2. Tack washer & bolt with solder.
    3. Attach hanging wire to water bottle, then thread thru washer.
    4. Apply enough hot glue directly to water bottle around nipple & inside nut.
    5. slide nut down wire to cover plastic nipple

the finished product should look like this
