Hey guys, I'm new here
I am new to the area but not new to reptiles. I have kept snakes all my life, from wild caught gaters, bulls and rattlers I watched over my childhood summers to the ball pythons I now love, keep and after a couple years of planning am ready to breed. I am a hobbyist i guess as point of fact, but I am also a farmer (poultry) so i do relize that pet snakes are just that and breeding snakes are not always pets and are kept far differantly then the my pretty living room terrarium. I orignally got into balls because over the years and I have meet a few breeders and others who kept pet balls in "colonys" of 3 to 5 in large enclousers. I get now that it is not really the reccomended thing so no need to start that thread LOL. Although I do still keep and have for a few years now "colony" of 3 together, my breeders are housed individually. (bee, pin, pastel, 2norms). I do need to get set up a little better for my breeders though and thats why I am here.
I woudl like to pick your brains on cost effective, Easy to maintain housing for "breeders", Incubators (I can just use my hatcher but would like a dedicated herp incubater for about 5 clutches. I have a small room that can be dedicated to racking or shelving for a bin or tub system and have a few ideas for that but would love to hear what ya all going about it.
Ok well see ya around the boards
