NO ONE I know is as goofy for Halo as me, and I feel the need to vent, lest I explode.

So reach is coming out, and I have been thinking about a few recent developments with the game.

:::Warning, run away now if you aren't prepared for a high level of nerdiness:::

As far as I can tell, Noble team is suppose to comprise of Spartan III's. The problem is, the Spartan III program was initiated in 2531. At this time, all of Alpha Company (The original group of SIII's) were between four and six years old. Making their birth dates between 2525 and 2527. Many members of Noble Team have earlier birth dates. I suppose some COULD be Spartan II's, but it seems unlikely as I don't think the SII program went on that long.
I'll chalk that one up to a clerical error on the part of Bungie.

Frank O'Connor also announced that they WILL be continuing (to what extent is unknown) the storyline from the end of Halo 3. (How I'm not sure)

SPOILER ALERT (From Halo 3 if you haven't played)

At the end of Halo 3, the Master Chief enters a cryopod and the ship passes by a strange looking planet. (Onyx, perhaps)

I am ecstatic to see where this goes!

The also released a recent Vidoc titled: "A spartan will rise". This is a kind of introduction to Noble Team. It implies that a lone spartan will rise up to save humanity. THIS is where the Halo 3 Mater Chief tie in is. (In my opinion) When Dr. Halsey suggests that the other character off screen made the right choice (I believe she was speaking to Cortana, the AI assigned to Master Chief and based on Dr. Halsey) I think they were talking about John-117, the Master Chief. I think Noble Team's sacrifice will be in a way that facilitates the Master Chiefs rise to glory.

OK OK OK. I'm done. I'm sorry if you suffered through this.
