Hey everyone,
So, I've been looking at pictures of all the Morph combos, and my two favorites that pop out are Pastels and Butters. I really like the light coloration in Ball Pythons.
So I've now decided that I'd like to breed Pastels and Butters. Here is my first pair "plan":
Pastel x Butter:
- 1/4 Normal
- 1/4 Pastel
- 1/4 Butter
- 1/4 Butter Pastel
It seems like a pretty good pair to me, and I think a Butter Pastel, judging by what I've seen, would be an awesome combo (for my tastes).
I'd also like to cross the Butter Pastel, if I'm lucky enough to hatch one out, back to the Butter, so:
Butter Pastel x Butter
- 1/8 Normal
- 1/4 Butter
- 1/8 Super Butter (Blue Eyed Lucy)
- 1/8 Pastel
- 1/4 Butter Pastel
- 1/8 Super Butter Pastel (Blue Eyed Lucy Pastel? lol)
I've read and have been told that a Super Butter is a "Blue Eyed Lucy", so I'm not sure if I'd be able to tell if it is Pastel as well or not...
I could also hold back and breed some of the pastels to Spiders and Pinstripes to try and produce my other favorite morphs: Lemon Blasts and Bumble Bees.
That is a long, long way off, but it is my plan (if I get lucky, but I can keep trying if not lol).
I'd like to know what you guys think, if you have any suggestions. I won't be getting the BPs until next year or later this year. I want to make sure I have stuff planned out properly.
Thanks.
