Well, I bred my Lemon Blast Male to a nice Spider Female. However he stopped breeding after 3 locks with her so I threw in the Pastel Butter Hypo Male one time on a whim just to back him up.
I got 11 eggs back in 1st June.
53 Days later they started pipping, first little head I saw was a Spinner.....GREAT! Lemon Blast is the daddy!
Out pop a couple Pastels, couple Spiders, a Pinstripe, a BumbleBee and low and behold the Spinner Blast I was shooting for!
2 days go by and I am thinking to myself.....now that BumbleBee is a funky colour, pretty damn light. So I eventually saw the head on the little thing, now that aint no BumbleBee I had ever seen! Last night the little critter crawled out of the egg and to my amazement, it is a beautiful Sputter!
Now obviously the Butter came from the Pastel Butter Hypo Male in a terrific split sire clutch.....now for the fun part.....everything in the clutch that does NOT have Pinstripe visually expressed, can/may be in fact 100% het Hypo! So that leaves me with 2 Pastels, 2 Spiders and 2 Normals that could all be 100% het Hypo! Now that is forcing my hand at which ones to add to my grow on racks! :-)
Well, without further babble from me, here are the results;
1.0 Spinner Blast - I got my boy!
1.0 Lemon Blast - Shame it was not a Girl, but you cannot win them all!
1.0 Spinner - Again, wanted a girl but no biggie!
0.1 Sputter het Hypo - Another Sputter to add to the collection!
0.1 Pinstripe - Cool, I will take that, thanks!
2.0 Spiders (Het Hypo?!) Definitely 2 of the best Spiders I have ever seen.
1.1 Pastels (Het Hypo?!) Some cracking examples!
0.2 Normals (Het Hypo?!) Something to play with!
Here are the clutch pictures! Enjoy!
