Kif the Panther Chameleon passed away this evening at the animal ER. He wasn't looking so good these last few days and this afternoon things took a turn for the worse.

I have never lost an animal yet so I am taking this pretty hard It is never easy to loose an animal. I am getting a necropsy done in the morning. To my knowledge (and to everyone else I consulted) my husbandry was spot on. I am just hoping this wasn't my fault

I don't know if I want to get another chameleon now. I love the species so much but it is so sad seeing his empty cage...it breaks my heart.


Also, if anyone was wondering where I went, I moved to a new apartment and I don't have very good internet yet. Plus I just finished unpacking my computer.
