    How about even though their reaction was ludicrous and unjustified, that we give them the benefit of the doubt. Some people are very slow learners. Have you ever met a first time parent that is completely clueless? These girls are the same way. It is so easy to overreact in new and strange situations. I think the constructive way to talk to them would be to try to help them as much as we can. That doesn't mean I agree with the things they freaked out about, just that we all make mistakes in the learning process.
