My next snake is deffinately a corn. Need some info&advice
As the title says, my next snake is definately a corn. Possibly 2, but I doubt it.
I really like the Anerythristics, Lavenders, Ambers, Blizzards, Ghosts, Opals, and Snows, how do their colours change/look from hatchlings to adults?
This will most likely be a personal pet. Do I have to brumate or hibernate it? Would I have to do either if I decided to breed?
I would probably keep this snake in a terrarium unless I decide to get more then one, then I would keep in tubs. What size terrarium should I start a hatchling off in, and what do you suggest I have with the enclosure? Hides, decor, 3 sides covered, etc? And if I keep in a terrarium, how often would I upsize the size? (I highly doubt I will just keep one, especially with terrariums. But just incase)
I know the temperatures, but kind of clueless about the humidity. What do you guys suggest for humidity?
This is something I somewhat "worried" (?) about. Feeding. I know they can eat mice their whole lives, but what do you suggest the prey size is for the snake? Same size width, 2-3x the size of the head, 10% or so of the body weight? I just go by the thickest part of the girth for my ball pythons.
This is all I could think of asking. Any advice you guys could include ontop of this would be excellent and greatly appreciated though.
