    New custom cage for Groo

Groo the tegu has a new cage. It's a bit shorter than her old cage, but the old cage has a wire top and I worry about face rubbing. It's got a shelf and two front doors(which I won't be using really due to the bedding) and the top opens up as well(which I will be using to access the cage). I had to play tetris in my living room moving the various cages around, shoveling(with a FULL SIZED SHOVEL) all the bedding around into the new cage, and finally moving it into the new spot, and arranging the eleectrical wires(geez what a dang pain! I need more outlets).

Sooo.. here's the empty cage, with one front door open, the other unlatched, you can see the shelf a little bit, and the top is open(propped open with a hammer).

So here is Groo in the cage with the added mulch/dirt/sand mix and her hide box which I tucked under the shelf and put mulch all around it.

With the lid, I might be installing a cage for a light INSIDE the cage, because it just makes more sense to me to have the heat source inside instead of wasting it outside the actual cage.

Best of all? The cage was completely free! FREE! And the guy brought it up to my work. They didn't think I could get it into my hosue by myself, but hey, I've moved heavier, bigger, more awkward things further distances by myself. It took less than 5 minutes to get it from the bed of my pickup to the center of my living room. Yep.. the Wolfy wants it moved, it moves. *preens*
