I haven't been around much for quite some time. I used to have several corn snakes that I kept at school where i worked, but long story short, my boss told me I couldn't keep them there anymore. I couldn't bring them home, so they had to be sold, for basically nothing to a local pet store. I've been out of herps since then. A couple months ago, the guy that replaced my old boss (who is a good friend of mine) wanted to breed the female gecko in his office, with one of his bosses males. I told him I would do the work of breeding and caring for the eggs, for one of the babies. Another long story short, that never happened. I did however during that period of discussion with him, get my parents to ok me having a leopard gecko. For my graduation present, my girlfriend bought me my first leo, so I'm back.
Its pretty small, so I'm not sure of the sex yet. It has shed once for me already, and had a very clean shed. I did notice that it only ate part of the shed. I'm only used to dealing with adult leos, and I know they usually eat it all. I'm not sure if that is normal or not for younger leos. So far I haven't really got to handle it yet, I'm still working on taming it. I'll get some pictures posted tonight.
