First leopard
I haven't been around much for quite some time. I used to have several corn snakes that I kept at school where i worked, but long story short, my boss told me I couldn't keep them there anymore. I couldn't bring them home, so they had to be sold, for basically nothing to a local pet store. I've been out of herps since then. A couple months ago, the guy that replaced my old boss (who is a good friend of mine) wanted to breed the female gecko in his office, with one of his bosses males. I told him I would do the work of breeding and caring for the eggs, for one of the babies. Another long story short, that never happened. I did however during that period of discussion with him, get my parents to ok me having a leopard gecko. For my graduation present, my girlfriend bought me my first leo, so I'm back .
Its pretty small, so I'm not sure of the sex yet. It has shed once for me already, and had a very clean shed. I did notice that it only ate part of the shed. I'm only used to dealing with adult leos, and I know they usually eat it all. I'm not sure if that is normal or not for younger leos. So far I haven't really got to handle it yet, I'm still working on taming it. I'll get some pictures posted tonight.
