K so one of my sisters friends just got a BP the other day from a school teacher. It was a class pet but due to PTA complaints they had to get rid of it. So to this girls house it goes! When the girl found out I had one, and was planning on getting more she asked that I Come check the snakes habbitat out.... The teacher deffinatly did her homework, the cage temps were perfect, it came with the accu-rite weather station deal. a heat pad at 93 and a cool hide at 79, 2 hides.. the works I was very happy to see that it was so healthy.

My question is this though, the teacher said that she got it from a breeder a little under 2 years ago, and that it was a male. I couldn't get pics but I weighed the snake out of curiousity (wanted to compare to what my snake will look like in 2 years) and the snake weighed just under 1500 grams.... I'm very inexperianced at this whole size thing, but that seems big for a 2 year old male doesn't it? I was looking at a pastel jungle male thats 4 years old and is only 900 grams. I know the best way to determin sex is to have it checked but I was curious to know if it still could be a male based on its weight.

The feeding schedule has been very constant, its only refused 2 meals that the teacher can remember. Its now eating large rats...

Just thought I'd ask. Thats what happens when you get bored at work.
