Hello everyone,
My name is Ivana and I live in the Chicago suburbs. I am new to the boards and new to snake ownership. I've only been in it for about a month. My son had been begging me for about a year to get one and I finally gave in and let him get a corn snake. Well, that corn stole my heart. Long story short, yesterday we came home from the reptile show with a 2 month old ball python. I fully intended to come back with another corn, but something happened and I totally fell for this beautiful snake. I think he's just a normal, but he's just beautiful and so cool.
I've been reading about the picky eating issues so I'm just hoping that he'll eat okay for the first time this week. The breeder that we got him from said he has been on live hoppers, but I don't intend to feel live. I really want to stick with frozen thawed which is what we've been feeding our corn. I'm a little nervous that he'll have issues, but I'm hoping since he's young he'll come around.
I look forward to getting to know all of you, reading all your posts and checking out all your photos.
Peace,
Ivana
