Gawd I swear this guy has fired up for me three, maybe four times since February. He's worth it though I think he might even be fresh shed, he was certainly looking dull for the past few days.

His QT period has come and gone and I've started introducing him to my neon yellow female with a slight tiger pattern, hoping to produce strongly colored near-patternless (I'm happy with bi-colors and tigers) geckos in the yellow-orange-pink-red spectrum. So far he hasn't shown much interest when I'm around, but I know my girl was laying inferts when she came out of cooling. I don't know anyone else who has done a similar pairing, so I can't wait to see what pops out. It might be dud brown buckskins, it might be fantastic. Either way, I'm raising up some even more fantastic reds that so far don't show any pores, so I should get some A+ red gecko production next season.
