mealworms have hard our casing(chitin i think) which is hard for babies to digest. i switched from crickets to pheonix worms as a staple. they are high enough in calcium you dont need any dusting. only have 3% more fat then crickets and more protein. i buy from pheonixworm.com i just weighed my guy and hes 49 grams! he was 4 grams when i got him early march. you will know when he eats greens, they will be scattered all over the place lol my baby nibbles on them since day 1. its hard to get quality answers at bd.org, from my own experience. any questions feel free to ask
