I need to treat the snake (Nanook) and cage for mites. She ate on Friday and has been hiding in her house most of the time since. She has them all over her. I got some treatment at PetSmart and was told I need to do this everyday until they are gone. Is it okay to pull her little house off her and go ahead and pick her up?

Also, the man told me he has snakes and to take a paper towel soaked in mite treatment and wipe along her body like she is a tube. I told him she is very head shy and he said I will just have to hold her head whether she likes it or not. Any other suggestions? I'm waiting until my toddler takes a nap so he won't get in the way.
