Ugh, I'm seriously all out of ideas. During the winter my humidity was perfect, hovering at 45-60% at all times but now that spring's come around the humidity's shot up (the two days of rain probably doesn't help matters either) to 75-80% constantly--or at least that's what my accurite's saying.
Temps as of now are 83 cool side and 92 hot side, ambient tips a little high (probably due to the moisture) at 85-86.
Here's a list of things I tried so far--
Moving their water bowl as far away from the heat source as possible
Airing the their tubs out (works for a little while but goes right back)
Drilling a couple more holes in the side and top (no difference)
Adding more aspen (not much change either)
Covering their water bowl with a top (it's those plastic take-out things) that has a hole cut in. (nada)
Just now I added paper towels to see if it'll suck the moisture up but I'm not holding my breath. Any idea on what I can do?
I'm thinking maybe I should change their aspen bedding entirely (did it last week when everything was fine) because I know they keep humidity pretty well.
