My strategy with males is to upgrade every year. Last year I upgraded my spider to a bee. I don't think I could ever let that guy go though, even if I produced pastel clowns, killer clowns, etc. He's definitely a keeper.
I hear ya! I can understand the draw of the variations on the clown...but to me, there's nothing prettier than the original thing...I just love their coloration/pattern!
