I still stand by saying it's not really possible to be completely healthy, and be a strict vegan. Not vegetarian, mind you, but vegan. There are too many essential nutients in animal foods that humans require, and plant sources are scarce, and often in different forms that the body doesn't process exactly the same way.
The assertion is that people who follow a vegan diet will feel fantastic, and better than they did before, for about the first year or so--but after that, their health will begin to deteriorate.
If this doesn't happen to you, that's really great--but don't go into denial if it does. It's an experiment you're engaging in--I do wish you luck, but also awareness that this isn't a choice that has truly been proven beneficial or safe.
