I've been wanting to get a rack unit for a while and shopped around to pretty much finding racks that were not within my budget. I work at Lowe's, so when I got out of work last night I came up with a real basic design to hold 6 tubs and allow for belly heat in the back. My small rack will measure 31 1/4 tall, 33 3/4 wide and 23 inches deep and pretty much resemble a classic book shelf style.

I am using 15/32 plywood & 2x4 for framing it out. I think it may be some what heavy trying to move it around when I do eventually move, but not too bad. All the wood will be sealed with a water-based primer, then painted with Olypmpic white paint, which is zero VOC when you do not add any pigmentation.

For heating I plan on using Repti-Cable with HVAC tape. I have never used Repti-cable for anything, but the price is right and I am not really into trying to mess around with flexwatt.

The cable will be connected to a ReptiTemp 500R thermostat.

I will not place any animals into this rack until I get the results they require. So I will probably adjust temps and constantly measure the humidity levels on all the tubs, Just to be safe.

I will post a few pictures later and thank you for reading
