Hey so I randomly have a problem with my pastel (pickest feeder of the bunch). First off he is around 140-150 grams (I think, don't remember at the moment weighed him the other day though, haha) And he is the last of the 4 to be in a 16 qt tub. Just haven't drill holes in it yet. No access to a power drill but I will this weekend. Sooooo here's the deal:
Fed everyone like normal. I uped the size on my pastel and spider b/c I think they need it and could take it down. Spider go it down fine, but the pastel not so much. First he had a bad strike (hit the front leg) and it went all down hill from here. Well I normally watch my guys/gals eat cuz I think it's freaking cool and never get bored of it, and notice my pastel starts to eat it but then after a while basically spits it back out and goes off to his hide........i was like wtf. I heard if the prey is to large they won't eat it. But my spider is like 5 grams smaller and she got a bigger 1 down fine. Tried to reheat it and no strike of anything. So I got a smaller mouse b/c he was in the prowl mode. He looked interested and all and licked it alot but no didn't strike. Left it in there with him and nothing all night.

It's weird cuz my spider did this one time but I just reheated it and she was fine, just needed a better direction to swallow it from, cuz he came in from the shoulder at an angle. I'm not really worried but I find it frustrating.
