Almost all of my locks happen when i leave them in over night. At first the female shows no interest, then the next morning they are locked. And my 14 year old male will not eat a thing from mid to late November until mid to late March like clockwork, so don't be upset if yours doesn't want to feed.
ohh alright good because that is another thing I was wondering. He stopped about a month or so ago as well, and was wondering how healthy he is for breeding. Hes not skinny, and before this breeding season never missed a meal.
