Anyone ever have a male that never bred?

Curious if anyone has ever had a male that just never bred for them? I have a '07 pinstripe who didn't go last year. Never showed any interest even though he was plenty big enough and producing plugs.

Well this year I really have a project that I want him to breed (jigsaws!!) and nothing has worked. Here's all what I've tried:
    • Put him in her cage
    • Put her in his cage
    • Paired with and without hides
    • Paired after she shed and left shed in tub
    • Paired a couple of days right after she ate
    • Rubbed sperm plugs from other prolific males all over her
    • Put him with another male for a few hours 1st
    • Tried pairing when a front and rain were coming through

Thinking that maybe she wasn't ready, I threw my male pastel in with her and within an hour they were locked up. So I know is him and not her.

Other than that I don't know what else to try! I'm wondering if maybe he'll just never breed for me. I've been trying since October. Anyone else with similar experiences and/or any other tips they can share?
