Yeah, I know what you are thinking, but it's true.

Nago, my favorite BP and my very first boy has always loved spending time with his mama. He hangs out on my lap/chest, curls in my hair, he's just a real cuddlebug.

Now, being the good mama that I am, I'm always giving him "mama kisses" along his back. I know you aren't supposed to, but I don't care, he's so soft and warm I can't resist. I rub my cheek along his back and cuddle him for 20-30 minutes at a time, and he always hates me to put him away.

Well, three days ago when I got him out, and I was holding him down by my chest, out of nowhere he raises his head up a good 8" off my hands, bumps his nose against mine and flicks his little tongue against my mouth. Then he laid back down in my hands and started exploring. I was just a puddle of mush! I told my hubby that Nago had kissed me, and he gave me an indulgent little smile that said I don't believe you but whatever you say honey.

So yesterday when I had him out and was sitting in my computer chair stroking his back, suddenly he raised up way high again and bumped his nose to my lips, then flicked out his little tonuge and kissed me, this time with hubby watching. He stared at me and then says," He just kissed you!" I told him no kidding. After his quick kiss, Nago slid down and started exploring my lap like always. Later he climbed up onto my shoulder, then he raised his head and brushed it against my cheek, back and forth, back and forth. It was so sweet!

Now I know what you are going to say, snakes can't show affection. He was attracted to this thing or that thing or the other thing and that is why he did it. You can say all of that, and I won't argue, but in my heart I know the truth. Nago loves me as much as I love him, and after months of cheek rubs and mama kisses, he learned to give me Nago kisses in return.

I never thought a snake could hold my heart as tightly as he can, but he is after all a constrictor. I just wanted to share.
