So I'm looking on Craigslist today, and I find a post where this person says they have a lemon pastel BP to rehome. With of course the couple of obligatory bad pics.
I'm pretty sure this snake is no lemon pastel, but I can see just enough to suspect it MIGHT just be a browned out pastel. So I email and ask the standard questions: How old? Sex? How much?
And I ask for a few more pictures, of the head and belly, because that is going to help me determine if it is indeed a pastel.
The person emails me back and says, and I quote "{ Right now the snake is at my buddies pet shop trying to get sold. There is nothing wrong with the head or the belly, if you want more info call XXX-XXX-XXXX.}
So is this guy really just that dumb, or do you figure he knows darn well that snake isn't what he says and figures if I drive all the way to see it I'll buy it no matter what? In the first place, he's got no business posting a snake that's in a pet shop. Secondly, he should know better than to think someone who knows anything about BP's at all is not just going to pay for a so-called lemon pastel sight unseen.
I just had to tell someone about this, I am still shaking my head.
