A very intelligent and interactive snake. Despite being rear-fanged venomous, they are not inclined to bite and are very interested in watching you.

Before I got him on F/T, it was a little disturbing watching him dispatch rodents. He'd grab them about the middle and chew for about 30 seconds. He would then drop the prey and pull back.

The prey would feebly kick and keel over fairly rapidly. They have identified and isolated a neurotoxin in their venom (rufoxin) which appears to be pretty effective on rodents.

A pig too. Always begging for food.
