Bored babies??
Two of my little guys, Vinnie and Orlando, always seem to be bored - especially Orlando, who I often find wandering & pressing his face against the tub. It's almost like when my dog needs a walk, and stares me down or misbehaves until I give in. I doubt it's stress, since I've had them 4 months with no feeding/health issues, etc... and my others are in the same exact environment, but much more calm and content.
Sooooo, do snakes (especially young ones) really get bored, or are these two just super active? If either answer is yes, do they need regular floor-time and more attention? Or is it time to put them in bigger tubs? I have them both in 12qts now, and they weigh around 350 & 450g respectively... I recently moved Julius the 650g "baby" into a 32qt, and thought maybe I'd move these guys too. Or will that just stress them out at this size? I'm getting sick of cleaning their tubs every day, since they have a tendency to splash their water about - also want to make sure they're happy. Sorry for the rambling, LOL.
