During the cold days its easier to sleep at night. Provided you have a roof over your head and can heat the home up to the 60s. And in the summer, if it exceeds 80F and you don't have sufficient A/C... sleeping is one of the most difficult things to do!
Oh, and the other nice thing about living where its colder... is like you said, tropical humid weather is a nice reprieve!!!!
