Over the past month, I've had a couple of new fuzzy additions.

Meet Sunshine Marie. She's a long hair hamster who's previous owners became scared of her. She's actually quite tolerant of being held, except when you wake her up. Only then is she really hissy!

And here is Mr. Snowflake. I found an exotic pet shop I had never been in, so I thought I'd look around. To my delight, they had some chubby frogs, which I promptly picked one up. Then I found the hedgie cage. This little guy was the runt and looked like he was getting picked on. I had room and actually the only thing I was missing was food, so he came home with me! He's adjusting quite well and has learned the joy of meal worms.

And last but not least, Miss Gabby. I picked up the little degu girl when we lived in Arizona. A testing facility had dumped about 50 of them on a rescue I was donating to. So she and one of her sisters came home with me. Sadly, the sister died two days later. The sister was extremely timid and apparently the stress was just too much for her. I've been attempting to find another companion for Gabby, but no luck. She's not super friendly, but I work in the room I keep her in, so I think she gets plenty of social interaction.
P.S. This is a horrible pic, because this is about as close as she lets me get.
