For all those wondering about what happened with the contests....I am deeply sorry to say that it is all my fault. I had to take an extended time away from the Internet and I hadn't made provisions for a smooth transition of the contest responsibilities. This is the first time in all the history of the site, since the original BPOM contest was first begun, that this ball has been dropped so badly. And I accept full responsibility for it. But I assure you....that they are not gone or forgotten and will make a full and complete recovery!!
Unfortunately, all images currently submitted to the contests (both those already approved and those waiting for approval) have been lost. We will have to start from scratch. We'll take the rest of the month of January to rebuild and re-collect the images, as well as accept new submissions. Contest polls will go up on Feb 1st as usual and run for their normal week. And from then on, everything should be back to normal as far as our monthly contests go.
In order to make it up to everyone for all the inconvenience and disappointment, I will be offering a very nice prize package for each winner of the January pictures. The actual package will be announced as soon as I make some confirmations, but I can tell you that they will be worth at least $35 for each winner. Because of the offer of real prizes, all contest rules will be strictly adhered to, so please be sure to review them and make sure your picture fits!
If you have already submitted a picture, please be aware that you must re-submit it. You may send in the same one, or a new one...whichever suits you best.
