It seems like 6qt, 28qt,32qt, & 41qt tubs are regularly used for BPs. Yet I'm curious does one move hatchlings which have outgrown their first tubs straight into tubs which will house adult males? I'm starting to look into building my first rack. I probably won't build mine still after we get out tax refund so I'm in no rush.
Presently I have 1.1 09 pastels which I picked up last month at a local show as well as a 0.1 CH 09. The pastel are in a couple tubs I picked up from target and roughly 18-20 qts & the CH female is in a visionarium. I figure I can house the pastels in their tubs till they are 500 or so grams. The normal is already over 400 grams but there is plenty of room in the vision for us her. I'm considering just building a 41qt rack but not sure how juvis would do in that size tub. Presently I'm not looking into having a large breeding project and figure a 9 bin rack would likely be enough for me. I'll make a hatchling rack when its needed. That considered it would be easier having one 41qt rack rather than a 32qt rack and build a 41 qt rack later once the females are sexually mature. Does anyone keep smaller BPs in 41qt tubs? I'm sure I have fit 2 or even 3 hides for the BPs in it.
Thanks
