All of the Senate EPW Committee members had a copy of the USARK/scientist letter. I spent all day Wednesday and Thursday visiting with each members staff and discussing S. 373. Each staff member received a packet of information which included talking points, my testimony on behalf of the National Pet Association, the letter from the 11 scientists to the House Subcommittee, the Pyron niche model study, and PIJACs summarized response to the USGS report release last month. I'll be following up with each staff member I spoke with tomorrow and back in DC Monday - Thursday next week for additional meetings.
The link below is the written testimony we submitted for the Senate EPW hearing today. (It's a PDF and will require Adobe Reader)
Senate EPW Testimony - 12.03.09
Thank you to everyone that called, faxed, and emailed. Your collective voice is being heard. This is the fight of our lives, please be strong and stay ready, we can't do it without you.
