switching to tubs, 1 quick question

yes, I'm finally going to do it. Picked up one of these, but the tubs are more shallow.

I was wondering. Should I put a Acu-Rite in each tub? How do you measure the temps in each tubs.

Also, for this size, how many holes do you think I should use?
