    My annoyance on genetic ignorance.

Dont worry. This isnt an all out bashing. Im just noticing a disturbing number of people that do not know the correct ingredients for certain morphs. Yet they are not aware that the info they have is wrong. So they continue to pass on wrong info to other people interested in breeding.

The major problem i have with this is people will then believe the info they recieved and when they do produce offspring, they are going to advertise it wrong. Then other uneducated or uninformed people will buy this morph believing it to be one thing, when it is in fact, a completely different morph than what it was sold as.. They will be "breeding" more uneducated people by passing on this wrong info.

Right here on this forum we have stickies that tell you most of the known morphs and the combo/combos used to produce them. I hope more people who are still learning will actually read these posts and do more research before claiming they know this morph. There is also a great book called The Complete Ball Python. Not to mention many top breeders who are more than willing to talk to people who are interested.

Many members here are notorious for correcting or bashing people who they feel is wrong. But in the case of properly identifying a certain BP morph, & then passing on that info, i believe these members should be givin kudos for all the correcting they do. As long as they are right. Without them this hobby/business would suffer.
