We got a call that we got last minute table at the Hillsboro Unique and Exotic Animal Show in Oregon, as in, got the call Thursday night to come down on Friday. (Three hour drive!) I don't think we've scrambled that hard in YEARS, lol!

We had about fifteen snakes available, the last of our February baby hypo boas, and a few missexed boas we had no room for, and a nice California bird cage, and a bunch of miscellaneous reptile supplies, so we were able to fill the table pretty well, especially on such short notice.

We sold the last of our normal male baby boas, which was a bit bittersweet because I was pretty attached to a couple... I even let two of my females go, one of which I'd been SO sure I'd keep.

The slow was PAINFULLY slow. A lot of vendors backed out, and there just weren't many patrons, either. The hotdog guy probably made the most.

BUT I got a lot in trades! Some BPs I was REALLY yearning for, too!

Here's our new '08 black pastel, Jefferson Twilight (I'm a Venture Brothers addict), we traded our pick of the litter male hypo BCI for him:

And for our second best hypo BCI, I got an '08 female yellowbelly we're calling Buttercup, who's totally in shed, so I can't wait to see what she looks like in brand new skin! (Have I mentioned that I'm a yellowbelly addict?)

For the normal female BCI baby, we took home a big proven normal female, Carla:

We'd already paid for this guy, but we finally got to take him home. Tesla, our proven het red axanthic!

And I couldn't say no to this little girl. I kept walking past her and amongst all the other BPs on the table, I wanted HER. I couldn't explain it, but my husband kept saying no. Even though they kept lowering the price for me, and making me offers... She had little 'A's on her side, and I was like " 'A' for Allysen! She's meant for me!". So Joey finally relented and let me make the whopping 40 dollar purchase. I call her Abra!
