I got my ball python about a month ago, (he was born in July) and he's currently in shed. I'm trying the tip in the "bad shed" thread, because he's only shed his head and none of his body. I don't know if it's because of the stuck shed or not, but his skin is very wrinkly and loose-looking. It's especially apparent if he's curled up as opposed to lying stretched out. Is this because of the shed or could this be a sign of something else? The humidity has been a bit on the low side, but I'm going to go out and buy some cypress tomorrow and hopefully that will help. By the way, how should I go about sterilizing the cypress mulch? I think I remember reading something about baking it.
