I purchased this boy as a blond pastel from my local herp shop. I know he came from a reputable local breeder but this guy is known to never give out much info. Very secretive and doesnt trust anyone he doesnt personally know. So i was unable to get any genetic background on him. I noticed these markings on his belly and got to wondering if he may be a possible het for pied. None of the babys from my pairing of the pastel to my odd normal had markings like these. All of which were pastel. Then again, they wouldnt if the sire was only a 66% possible het.

Take a look and tell me what you think. Should i even try breeding him to a pied to find out? Or do you think this is just a normal appearing pastel. Thanks so much for your opinions!!
