Ok, maybe a 32 qt tub is too small..

Tubs are opaque & they offer the added security because of this. In tanks (as my 1st BP was) he was always hiding; not so once he got his tub. None of my adult males even use their hides after a few months of non-use I took them out. 32s are perfect for adult males and all but the biggest girls. 42 will work nice for your big ladies. Some of my girls do- they will move the hide where they want it.

Ok well I guess I'll go ahead and use the 42 qt for my girl for now. Also, I've been using Aspen and that's been working alright with my humidity but would it make it dryer in the tub if I used paper towels?
