R.I.P. Iggy...
today I had to euthanize Iggy, my pet rat, because he had a big tumor on the belly that got infected, because it always touched the ground when he moved.
He was 2 1/4 years old and I decided that I wont have the tumor operated, because of his age and the probably occuring problems, but to give him the best life possible till the end.
Two days ago i realized a small wound on his tumor, that got huge by the time, and today it got really worse, so I relieved him today, before he would have to suffer.
I did it myself (do not ask how, though it was real fast and painless for my boy), because I thought it would be easier for him, just to get out of his cage, be petted and die, than to be put into a box and travel to the vet, but I cried half an hour after that.
Sad evening...
Iggy I will miss you buddy...

Iggy is the guy on the right, Sid is still with me.
