My pastel was purchased on October 31st, 2007. From that day on, he has been trying to bite me every chance he gets. I used to have to use a makeshift hook to move him from his tub so I could clean it.
Well, after almost two years of trying to bite me, he finally did.I was feeding all the snakes f/t mice and when I got to Thriller, he was poised to strike as always. I did the "zombie mouse dance" in front of him with the mouse and he struck and constricted. So I moved on and closed his tub. The vibration of the tub closing caused him to let go of the mouse. Now he is the kind of picky eater that NORMALLY doesn't eat a mouse that he isn't constricting, so I went to pick it back up with the tongs and BAM! Right on my fingers. I barely felt it and there was only the tiniest drop of blood. I just stared at him for a second and said "Well fine then, you can figure out what to do with it!" As if to prove his point that the mouse was his, he ate it as soon as I left, without constricting it.
I guess he did a little dance after I left. He'd been waiting almost two years for that.No pictures as the bite was so small, I can barely see it in person. Just 3 teeny itsy bitsy brown dots on my finger.
