most of you are more than likely aware of "liquid bandaid" and how useful it is during incubation of eggs going bad. for those that are not aware this is for you. two weeks into incubation one of the lesser eggs started to become dark in one area about the size of a quarter. the area also began to "sweat". this area was spreading out more a little each day. in other words the egg was going bad. i used a small piece of paper towel to "blot" the sweat "wet drop lets" that were on that area. i then applied a smooth thin application of liquid bandaid to the area. i also extended the application just a little beyond the area to make sure that the surrounding areas were treated also. i did this three times, the first application, second the next day and again two days later the third application. the area responded and stopped sweating. after about a week the area started to turn white again. the egg stayed plump and hatched along with the other eggs. the photo is of the Lesser that hatched from this egg. i hope this helps.
BTW, I used CVS brand.
