Now, i am not asking you all what you think i should do, i already know. I have a plan and am sticking to it. I was just curious what other people would do in my shoes.
In a couple of seasons, pretty much all of my current collection will be breeding ready, so i have a few options to choose from. I can go for a lot of supers and just have my super pastel male pair up with 4 morph girls or i can just take my super pastel male and run him through all my morph girls.
Would you choose ..
Option A .. Try and hit mostly on the supers:
- Lesser X Lesser.
- Mojave X Mojave.
- Cinnamon X Cinnamon.
- Yellow Belly X Yellow Belly.
- Super Pastel X Cinnamon X 2.
- Super Pastel X Pastel.
- Spider & Lesser & Super Pastel X Pinstripe.
.. or would you choose ..
Option B .. try and aim for all the crosses, maximizing my super pastel male's use, if he can handle it that is:
- Super Pastel X Lesser.
- Super Pastel X Mojave.
- Super Pastel X Cinnamon X 3.
- Super Pastel X Yellow Belly.
- Super Pastel X Pastel.
- Super Pastel X Pinstripe.
I myself plan on using Option A, as i think down the road, with having supers for breeders, i will be better off. Not many odds to deal with when mating super to super.
Would you go the same route or try and get your combo hold backs early? Thoughts?
