Any way I could try and stop this?

I just got back from a vacation at the ocean, and I have to say I'm quite upset. For those of you who have been to Ocean City or somewhere similar, you'd know that hermit crabs are big in all the souvenir shops. I've always hated the fact, but I've come to accept the sale of hermit crabs on the boardwalk. However, I did not expect what I saw this time. Not only were there hermit crabs, but now they have aquatic frogs (about half an inch long in not even a half gallon of water) and anoles! The anoles are kept in the tiny hermit crab containers with a plastic palm tree, and that's it. No heat source, and I seriously doubt they're feeding them what they need. This should not be legal. Animals aren't souvenirs, and IF you're going to sell them as such, you should at the very least be keeping proper care of them. Is there nothing me, or anyone could do? Or do I just have to watch this happen?
