Our first ever Pieds to hatch finally shed. These guys hatched whjile we were on vacation, so I didn't even get to watch them crawl out. We bought our first pair of Het Pieds in 2004, and the female finally laid eggs for the first time this year. She was bred by our Pied male that we picked up in 2007 (got tired of waiting to produce one). She laid 5 eggs, and we were fortunate to get 2 male Pieds (I really wanted a girl, but that's ok, because they are still Pieds).
The day after these guys hatched, another of my favorite morphs crawled out. Our second ever Hypo Cinnamon. Again, I wanted a girl, but this guy is smokin. He is actually better looking than the one we produced last year. This was 6 eggs from breeding Cinny Het to Het Hypo female. The first 5 eggs I cut were all Normal appearing animals (66% Poss Hets), but I was getting nervous. The last egg was the beauty sitting between the Pieds.
