I remember reading when I initially did my research that a neonate gtp needs to be at least a year to be probed. I'd ask a vet, but as I don't already have a reliable vet in this area, I'd be afraid that they would give me incorrect information to the detriment of my gtp. I bought him in september, and was told he was 6 months old at the time (seemed small but he's my first so who knows), which puts him at over a year. He seems so small still, I'm afraid to take him to a vet, have the vet say probing/popping is fine, and hurt him. Is there a certain age or weight that is the marker for sexing-time, and is popping or probing more safe?
Thanks!
