I like the suggestion of getting her involved in the hobby, maybe purchasing her one of her own little ones? I have a feeling that after she sees how great it is that she will be begging to get more.

AHHH! Totally great suggestion, the 09 Mojave girl that we just purchased was my wife's idea because she wants BELs, but now that it's here and so little and cute she loves it and is constantly checking the temps and everything, just waiting to do something. Nothing gets a woman hooked on something like kicking in her maternal instinct to take care of something. No offense, Im just saying.
