Hi guys,

Bought a very attractive male retic hatchling from a local breeder here. He doesn't have his probing kit available at that time and he popped the retic in question and confirmed it's a male. He did offer anyway to replace if my hatchling turned out to be a female and if it had any health problems.

1) Basically, how reliable is "popping"? Since it's a hatchling, I had a hard time trying to look for the signature spurs/claws at the base of the tail; although the high orange color of the hatchling (especially on the sides) is very promising.

2) i'll post pics soon; but given my earlier descriptions, is it possible I got a sunfire? I tried reading/looking up pics at the net but so far, I still find it hard to differentiate them from nice looking normals. Don't worry...I bought him at a "normal" price but his high orange contrast looks....quite unique

Thanks
